These Terms of Use set out the practical rules for using Share a Calendar. They sit alongside our Terms and Conditions (the contractual terms), our Disclaimer (the limits of what we warrant), our Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy. By using the site you accept all of them. If you do not accept them, please stop using the site.

What you may do

You may use this site free of charge for personal, family, educational, charitable and commercial purposes. You may print the calendars you create, photocopy them, pin them on a wall at work, hand them out to a class or a team, and email the files to colleagues. You do not need our permission and you do not need to credit us, although a link is always appreciated. You may also link to any page on this site.

What you may not do

You may not scrape, crawl at unreasonable rates, mirror or systematically download this site or its underlying data; republish our calendar or holiday data as a competing product or service; resell the generated files as your own commercial product; attempt to access accounts, data or systems you are not entitled to; test or probe the security of the service; upload or store unlawful, infringing or abusive material; or use the site in any way that breaks the law where you are.

Accounts and your content

Accounts are optional and free. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for activity carried out through your account. The notes and events you create remain yours; we store them only to show them back to you and to anyone you deliberately share a read-only link with. Do not store sensitive personal information, financial details or anything confidential in calendar notes — a calendar is not a secure vault, and a share link, once created, can be forwarded by whoever receives it. You can delete individual notes, a whole calendar or your entire account at any time from My Account.

Sharing

Enabling sharing on a calendar creates an unguessable link that lets anyone holding it view that calendar without signing in. It is your responsibility to decide who receives it. You can revoke access at any time by turning sharing off, which immediately breaks the existing link.

Accuracy

Holiday dates, calendars and downloadable files are provided for convenience and are not guaranteed to be correct or complete. Verify any date with an official source before relying on it. The full position is set out in our Disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.

Advertising

This site is free because it carries third-party advertising. We do not choose the individual adverts shown, do not endorse them, and are not responsible for the products, services or websites they promote. Any transaction you enter into with an advertiser is between you and them.

Availability and changes

We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the service at any time, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may also update these Terms of Use; the date above shows the current version, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
