Terms and Conditions

Last updated: September 15, 2026

These Terms and Conditions govern the contractual relationship between you and Share a Calendar ("we", "us") when you use https://share-a-calendar.com and any service, file or feature made available through it. They should be read together with our Terms of Use, which sets out the day-to-day rules for using the site, our Disclaimer, our Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy. By accessing the site you agree to be bound by all of them. If you do not agree, you must stop using the site.

1. The service we provide

We provide a free, advertising-supported online calendar together with printable and downloadable calendar files and reference information about public holidays. The service is supplied "as is" and "as available". We may add, change, suspend or remove any part of it, including whole features, at any time and without notice. We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, and we are not liable for downtime, maintenance, or failures of the hosting, network or third-party services on which the site depends.

2. Accounts

An account is optional. If you create one, you must give a valid email address, keep your password confidential, and accept responsibility for everything done through your account. Do not share credentials or let anyone else use your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. We may suspend or delete an account that is used to break these terms, to store unlawful material, or to abuse the service or other users. You can delete your own account at any time from My Account, which permanently removes your calendars and notes.

3. Acceptable use

You may use this site for personal, educational and business purposes, and you may freely print, save and distribute the calendars you create. You may not: copy, scrape, mirror or systematically download the site or its data; resell or redistribute the site itself or bulk-generated files as your own product; attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, account or data; probe, scan or test the security of the service; introduce malicious code; place unreasonable load on the service through automated requests; remove or obscure any notice; or use the service in breach of any applicable law.

4. Intellectual property

The site's design, code, text and branding belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. Calendar files that you generate are yours to use freely as described above. Factual information such as dates and holiday names is not claimed as our property, but the particular selection, arrangement and presentation of it on this site is.

5. Your content

You keep all rights in the notes and events you add. If you save them to an account, you grant us only the limited permission needed to store and display them back to you, and to anyone you deliberately share a link with. We do not sell your content, use it for advertising, or publish it. You are responsible for what you store, and you must not store anything unlawful or anything you do not have the right to store.

6. Advertising

The service is funded by third-party advertising. We do not control which adverts appear, do not endorse advertised products or services, and are not party to any dealings you have with an advertiser. Any such dealings are solely between you and the advertiser.

7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The accuracy limitations and liability exclusions in our Disclaimer form part of these Terms and Conditions and are incorporated here in full. In summary, and to the fullest extent permitted by law: the service is provided without warranties of any kind; we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data, missed deadlines or missed appointments; and our total aggregate liability to you in connection with the service, on any basis, will not exceed the greater of the amount you have paid us (which for a free service is nothing) or 50 USD. Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded — and if you deal with us as a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

8. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against any claim, loss or cost arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the service, or content you store or share through it.

9. Changes and termination

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it. We may terminate or restrict your access if you breach these terms. You may stop using the service at any time.

10. Severability, waiver and governing law

If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These terms, and any dispute arising from them, are governed by the laws applicable at our principal place of business, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights available to you locally.

11. Contact

Questions about these terms should go to support@share-a-calendar.com or through the contact form.

We'll email you once a month, at the start of the month, with a link to your fresh calendar. No spam, unsubscribe any time.
